AutoWatch To Assist Motor Body Repairers

MiWay is hoping to improve communication between panel beaters and MiWay customers with the local introduction of AutoWatch.

Using the system, motor body repairers can send MiWay clients messages and photos via email and SMS them at key intervals of the repair process. Customers are immediately informed should there be any delays, allowing them to make contingency plans. For added convenience, they can access the photos and status updates at any time by logging onto the client version of the system.

MiWay is the first insurance company to endorse AutoWatch outside of North America and says it will be able to use its own South African data from AutoWatch to troubleshoot any problem areas in the repairs process.

Nationwide training and implementation of the system is nearly complete, with the insurer expecting all of its panel beaters to be equipped in the next few months.
